  • About author:ZHOU wanlei received the BEng and MEng degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology.China in 1982 and 1984 and the PhD degree from The Austra. 1ian National University,Australia in 1991.aU in computer science and engi. neering.He also received a DSc degree (n higher Doctorate degree)from Denkin University.Australia in 2002.He is currendy the Alfred Deakin Professor (the highest honour the University can bestow on a member of academic stam and Chair Professor in Information Technology,School of Information Technology,Deakin University.Professor Zhou was the head of School of Information Technoloy twice and associate dean of Faculty of Science and Technology in Deakin University.Beforo joining Deakin University, Professor Zhou served as a lecturer in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China,a system programmer in HP at Massachusetts,USA,a 1ecturer in Monash University.Australia.and a lecturer in National University of Singapore, Singapore.His research interests include distributed systems. network security,bioinformatics,and e-learning.Professor Zhou has published more than 300 papers in refereed interna. tional iournals and refereed intcmational conferences proceedings He has also chaired many jnternational conferences. Prof Zhou is a senior member of the IEEE.
    MIN Geyong is a professor of Highl Performance Computing and Networking in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science,the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Science at the University of Exeter,UK. He received the PhD degree in computing science from the University of Glasgow, UK in 2003,and the BSc degree in computer science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology,China in 1995. His research interests include future internet,computer networks,wireless communications,multimedia systems,information security,high performance computing,ubiquitous computing,modelling and performance engineering.
