REN Fuji: Prof. REN Fuji received the Ph.D. degree in 1991 from Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University, Japan. He worked at Computer Service Corporation (CSK), Japan, where he was a chief researcher of natural language processing (NLP) from 1991. Since 2001, he has been a professor of the Faculty of Engineering, Tokushima University, Japan. He was the director of Information Solution, Tokushima University. He is the president of International Advanced Information Institute, Japan. He is also an advisor professor or visiting professor in New Mexico State University, Florida International University, Harvard University, Hefei University of Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing University, Tongji University, and Xi’an Jiaotong University. His current research interests include natural language processing, artificial intelligence, affective computing, and emotional robot. He is Fellow of JFES, IEICE, CAAI, and HTC, and a member of The Japan Federation of Engineering Societies. He is a Chang Jiang Scholar Endowed Chair Professor of the Chinese Ministry of Education, a winner of the Chinese Academy of Science Fund for Distinguished Overseas Young Scholars, and Chinese “1000 Talents Plan” Distinguished Expert.|GU Yu: Prof. GU Yu received his D.E. degree from the Department of Computer Science, University of Science and Technology of China, China in 2010 (with the Excellent Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences). He received his B.Eng degree in 2004, from the Special Classes for the Gifted Young, University of Science and Technology of China. From Feb. 2006 to Aug. 2006, he was an intern in Wireless Network Group, Microsoft Research Asia, China. From Dec. 2007 to Dec, 2008, he was a visiting scholar with the Department of Computer Science, Graduate School of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, Japan. From Nov. 2010 to Oct. 2012, he worked in the National Institute of Informatics (Japan) as a JSPS research fellow. He is a full-time professor with School of Computer and Information, Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), China and was awarded “Huangshan Mountain Yong Scholar” in 2012. His research interests include effective computing and pervasive computing, especially context-aware mobile sensing. He received the Excellent Paper Award at IEEE Scalcom 2009 and Best Paper Award at NLP-KE 2017. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of ACM.
