About author:Sean Cai (SeanCai@zte.com.cn) is the vice president of wireless at ZTE. He is responsible for developing 4G technologies as well as strategic marketing and technical support for business development. He leads a technical team in USA, working closely with leading operators. He is actively involved in the working group activities of various standard bodies. He has more than 20 years’professional experience in telecommunications, and he specializes in advanced wireless products research and development. Prior to joining ZTE, he held various senior positions in infrastructure ASIC architecture design, CDMA, and optical development. He has been awarded multiple international patents in telecommunications. He was recognized as one of the“Mobile Movers & Shakers”in 2008 by RCR Wireless News for his leadership in the development of new wireless technology.
Li Mo (mo.li@zte.com.cn) received his B.Eng. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Queen’s University, in 1989. After graduation, he worked at IBM, Nortel, and Fujitsu before joining ZTE in 2001. Currently, Dr. Mo is the chief architect for ZTE USA and works as a marketing specialist for ZTE headquarters in Shenzhen. Dr. Mo has worked in the networking industry for more than 20 years, and has numerous publications and U.S. patents. His research interests include fixed and mobile core networks, session control, QoS, and routing. Dr. Mo is also an active member of IEEE, ITU, ETSI, and IETF.
