  • 作者简介:Zhu Jinkang is a professor of the Electronic Engineering and Information Science Department, and the director of the Personal Communications Network and Spread Spectrum Laboratory in University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He was once a member of the communications subject expert group of the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China ( 863 Program), leader of the personal communications expert team of this expert group, deputy director of the Academic Committee of USTC, vice president of the School of Information and Technology, USTC. In recent years, he has been engaged in the research on wireless mobile communications methods and technologies, wireless networks and communications signal processing.

摘要: Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) has been actively res earched and developed as a new network technology to support broadband high - speed multimedia services . This paper dis cuss es WMN technology and applications , and introduces the basic technologies , typical applications and current development of the WMN. With the future development of wireless distribution technology and network, wireless Mesh technology and network will become the key networking technology and architecture of wireless mobile communications , and will be widely us ed in various wireless networks with more important roles .
