  • 作者简介:Liao Jianxin is a professor, doctoral adviser, and the director of the Network and Intelligence Research Center of State Key Lab of Network and Switch Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 1996. His current research direction is pervasive service environment and service network intelligence. He won a second- grade National Science and Technology Progress Award, two first- grade Science and Technology Award by China Institute of Communications, a first- grade Ministerial Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, and an Award for Important Technology Invention in Information Industry. He has more than 70 technical papers collected by SCI and EI. He has also authored two and translated three books. Moreover, he has applied for more than 30 national invention patents.

摘要: With the technological advances and market development, telecommunications networks and the Internet are converging into one universal network; meanwhile , the services provided by these two kinds of networks are integrating . Pervasive services will meet demands and expectations from all aspects . The topic has become a favorite for research in Beyond Third Generation (B3G ), Next Generation Network (NGN) and Next Generation Internet (NGI) fields . The concept of the pervasive services comes from pervasive computation and B3G . Their features include pervasiveness , mobility, transparency, QoS - guarantee , customization , adaptiveness , push , security, easiness , variety and time - to - market. 3GPP , OMA and the B3G research program of the European Union (EU) have conducted a lot of research work about the different features of pervasive services . The current hot topics in the pervasive services research include context awareness and s ervice enabling .
